2022-2023
Successful entrepreneurs who make their brand world famous and leave everlasting impact of their brands on our minds that refuse to fade away are pioneers on product management. Therefore, it is very important to learn how to manage and grow a developing product management business. With this aim in mind, AAMDANI: The Finance and Investment Cell of Janki Devi Memorial College organized a session on PRODUCT MANAGEMENT under the mentoring of Mr. ANKUR JHA, the AI/ML product manager with over 14 years’ experience, on 7th November 2022, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm through virtual platform.
In this session he explained importance of product management and with efficient product management an organization can increase overall efficiency more than 34.2%. Further he added that product manager has to focus mainly on four things to increase efficiency that are: targeted customer, profitability, communication and guarding expenses. He ended his session by saying that “GREAT PRODUCT MANAGEMENT MAKE GREAT COMPANIES”.
AAMDANI- The Finance and Investment cell of Janki Devi Memorial College organized a one hour FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM under the mentoring of Ms Shikha Mittal, the founder and director of Be artsy Foundation on 29th September 2022, from 11:30 onwards in room number 15.
In the webinar she explained the importance of financial literacy .She further discussed how to earn money from different portfolios, how to further mange it and lastly where to save the extra funds left. She also discussed various forms of investment .She ended by saying that INVESTMENT IN KNOWLWDGE PAYS THE BEST INTEREST.

College organised a webinar on Financial Planning with the Masters of Wealth Creation-Women, with the speakers Ms Swati Choudhary, Head of operations & advisory SAR WEALTH (ARCADIA) and Mr Punit Ranjan, Founder SAR WEALTH (ARCADIA). The webinar was held on 4th September at 12 noon on the Zoom platform. This webinar enriched knowledge of over 75+ students on financial planning.
In the webinar, Mr. Punit Ranjan explained how investment is wrongly said to be a gamble. Investment requires an informed decision after a detailed research about the market. Ms. Swati Chaudhary, through her personal experiences, explained how in most cases women do not participate in matters related to investment in her house. She made us understand how it is always appreciated to take advice from others but at the end, we should be informed enough to make our own decisions in investment related matters.
After months of hard work and dedication AAMDANI, The Finance and Investment Cell of Janki Devi Memorial college officially announced the launch of our website on 28th August from 10 am onwards via zoom wherein all the mentors, convenors and seniors were invited. At the event, Yukti Rawat (The President of the society) proudly announced the launch of our website and all the mentors gave their best wishes. Our goal with this new website was to provide our readers an easier way to learn about AAMDANI’s resources and to browse information based on their own choice. This new website provided better access to our Vision, our People, Events, News and updates, Blogs, Case studies and our Newsletter- ‘Strictly Street'.

On the occasion of 75th INDEPENDENCE DAY, AAMDANI: The Finance and Investment cell of Janki Devi Memorial College organised an Intra College essay writing under Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav to commemorate India’s Independence by celebrating the rich culture, history and heritage. The competition witnessed 12 entries wherein participants mailed their essays in the form of a word document in maximum of 500 words. The deadline to submit the same was 22nd August, 2021.
The winners of the competition were declared by the President of the society on the event of our website launch i.e 28th August. Kanishka Sharma bagged the first position and got Rs 500 as well as special mention on our social media platforms whereas Mitali bag and Simran Adlakha were also mentioned on our social media platforms.
AAMDANI- The Finance and Investment cell, Janki Devi memorial College organised a Workshop on " Developing Investment Acumen" with the speaker Mr ARPIT GUPTA, IIM Lucknow (Finance & Marketing batch 2013) having Financial literacy training experience of 4+ years. The workshop was held in collaboration with Cerebro Kids, The Financial Literacy Academy on 22 July from 2pm onwards on Google meet. This workshop helped 60+ finance enthusiasts to build a strong investment foundation.
This workshop provided basic learning of stock market and investment as well as gave an opportunity of getting added to Exclusive Finance literary club. In this, he went on explaining the participants to where, when and how much to invest in the beginning. Since great enthusiasm and keenness could be seen in the responses given by the participants, the speaker clarified all the doubts.
Aamdani: The Finance and Investment Cell and IQAC of Janki Devi Memorial College organised a Pre-Talk on NSE Academy's Industry Readiness Program with the speakers Mr. Abhishek Dave (Chief Manager Business Development at National Stock Exchange of India Limited) and Mr. Kunal Tyagi (Manager, at NSE Academy Ltd). The program was held in collaboration with NSE on July 2nd, 2021 from 11:00 AM onwards on zoom.
The Program was a 60-hour online internship base program. The content of the program was carefully crafted by analyzing the skill gap in the Indian Capital Markets and Banking & Insurance Industry. The programme adopted practical approaches which aimed at making college students ready to pursue rewarding career opportunities in the BFSI sector.

Our first event THE ACCRUAL MADNESS, was the center of attraction of FINTASTIC'21 , wherein participants were able to imply their financial knowledge to test along with having fun . It was the perfect event to test your research skills, showcase the inner entrepreneur in you and think as the CEO of million dollar companies !
The second event , TRACECASE was divided into two rounds to see how the participants put the analytical as well as the creative side of their brain to work in order to solve a business problem.
The event attracted major participation from finance enthusiasts as well as the enthusiasts interested in cracking mind boggling case studies .
The third event of the FINTASTIC'21 was the FINCRICK BATTLE.
This event was organized for finance enthusiasts who are also fans of cricket. The participants got to
experience the IPL auction process by bidding for players and making their teams with the given combination of batsmen, bowlers, and all- rounder.

Aamdani conducted 'MONOCULO', a Bollywood quiz testing financial knowledge using movie related questions; a perfect commingle of entertainment and financial knowledge.
Aamdani during the times of the prevailing pandemic is striving to ensure that the spirit of learning is kept alive.
It organised 'TRANSCRITO", an intra-college article-writing competition during the month of November on the following three topics :
1. How to revive lndian economy?
2. Jet airways cricis: what could be done to prevent this?
3. Is China's belt and road initiative disguised as a huge debt trap?
Aamdani also came up with a webinar on PATHWAY TO CAREERS IN FINANCE on 21 November, 2020 in collaboration with FinLadder. The webinar was solely devoted to the world of finance and
the potential of careers it has in itself to give the students a clear and complete picture of the careers in the Finance sector. The webinar was a great success and was very informative for the students. The speakers were Murrad Beigh and Ishaan Arora, cofounders of FinLadder.

A brief about events at FINTASTIC:
Finnexia was a fun event that had finance-related short games with various twists in it. It had 3 rounds - Taboo, CAN (Crossword, Audio, and Nearest Guess), and Card game. It witnessed 60 participants.
Valar Moghulis Minus Trivedi was a game that tested the craziness for series as well as knowledge of finance. It had 2 rounds – Series quiz with bidding on the answers and a human version of Monopoly game. It witnessed 50 participants.
Mockstation 2.0 was an Open-Outcry mock-stock in which students bought and sold the shares of
● Aamdani in collaboration with ISM-Institute of Stock Market, Delhi, hosted a workshop on 'Stock Market' on 6 September, 2019. The workshop began with a very interesting short movie highlighting
the benefits of investment. It took a fun and interactive turn with the thrilling session of questions
with the speaker, Mr. Sachin Birla, who also spoke about the importance of investment and discussed
various securities to invest in.
● The Hult Prize, B-Plan competition was organised by Aamdani in collaboration with the
Entrepreneurship Society of Janki Devi Memorial College on 22 October 2019.

Aamdani beautifully sustains the name it has in terms of the exposure and the depth of financial
knowledge it attempts to spread. Aamdani publishes volumes of its official newsletter named
“STRICTLY STREET” which captures many economic terms and important economic events of the
recent past.
All in all, Aamdani is a perfect place that possesses the potential to augment the finance and
